Once you lose your weight, you want to keep it off. Learning how to fix meals that are nutritious and delicious is an important part of your new post-surgery lifestyle. That is why our nutritionist is a key member of our team.

After surgery our Registered Dietitian, Ann Tamanini, RD, LD specializes in bariatric nutrition and will work with you to develop a nutrition program that makes sense and is easy to follow. This includes how to cook nutritious and delicious food, make wise food choices and control portions.

Ann received her degree in Medical Dietetics from Ohio State University. She brings more than 20 years of clinical experience and is certified by the American Dietetic Association in Adult Weight Management. She is also an affiliate member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Our Registered Dietitian provides the following services and support during your initial consultation:

  • Comprehensive discussion of diet history
  • Planning of a new diet strategy to meet your daily needs and lifestyle
  • Education on eating principles that help promote lifelong nutritional health by emphasizing gradual, sustainable changes

Unlimited post-op one-on-one nutritional consultations are included in the program fee and offer the following benefits:
